Made in God’s image

We all have worth because we are made in the image of God. Without God we truly don’t have value or worth, because then our worth would be based in someone’s subjective opinion. Our mother could say we have worth and value but then someone else could say we are a loser and never should have been born. Who is right? This stance is like following shifting sand and is ever changing. It is comparable to when people say there is no objective truth and it is all relative (changing truth). God (of the Bible) is the uncaused first cause and the basis for all objectivity. Without God, we are truly just random chances and mutations and foundationally have no more worth then a jellyfish. We all know this is a lie. Jesus stated in the book of John 14:6, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through me”. We need to search out the Truth (Jesus) intellectually and bring it into our heart so He can regenerate our heart of stone with His heart of love. “And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them” (Ezekiel 11:19). All the hate, greed, anger, and evil in this world stems from sin (going against God’s law). The only cure to stamp out the sin is Jesus. There is a reason why Jesus was considered the “Great Physician”. We are all born into a sinful nature and are in need of a Savior. Jesus who is God, is the only One who can redeem us, forgive us of our sin, and save us from eternal separation (hell) from God.

Be a “ Man of God”

“At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of…

Broken

We spend a lot of our time as humans coping through the tough times in our life hoping for a better future. We can try to rely on ourselves, but the problems are always bigger than ourselves and we are often overwhelmed and feel like we will explode. As for me, when I use to…

If you find your identity in what you do then you will never feel truly fulfilled. Seasons and titles change and you will feel lost if your identity is found…

Once Dead now Alive

How do we change the world to be a better place for our children and the future? You have to be able to change the heart to have any long lasting effect. God was telling us the plain truth when he spoke through his prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 17:9-10 in the Old Testament. “The heart…
